It’s that time of the year again Florida Space Coasters! You know, Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls. Well, almost. First, we all have to get through the tryptophan, Thanksgiving, Black Friday and everything else that is supposed to happen before we start to celebrate our Saviors birth.
One of the greatest traditions and joys about the Christmas season here in Brevard County, is our annual Boat Parades in and out and throughout the many many miles of waterways. Residents sit on their docks or in their back yards along the Indian, Banana and Sykes Creek to watch the boats cruise by all decorated. Some of our boaters go all out to the top with the decorations too!
So, mark your calendars for the closest boat parade near you! If you don’t live on the water, find a neighbor or friend who does so you can sit back and watch the festivities!
Each year, we have a Christmas Boat Parade party at our home and invite some friends over for Christmas cookies, hotty toddy’s and hot cocoa!
