It’s just about that time of year!  It’s an American tradition as true and golden as baseball and apple pie.

Those of us that live here in Brevard County, and our friends who are visiting at this time of the year, have the special treat of watching fireworks as they go off over the many water ways here on the Space Coast.

Here is a list of July 4th Fireworks celebrations you can “ooooohhh and ahhhhh” over this year with your family and loved ones.

Friday, July 1:

Eau Gallie Arts District

5:30 p.m. An Independence Day celebration for the entire family this year at the Eau Gallie Arts District at First Friday.   Everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy adult beverages, food, art exhibits and shopping.

Saturday, July 2: 

Port Canaveral

8 p.m. Smoke on the Water – Fireworks over the Harbor. For the best view, check out The Cove at Port Canaveral where you can dine at one of the waterfront dining spots and explore the Exploration Tower. Fireworks are expected to go off around 9 p.m.

Sunday, July 3:

Palm Bay

4 p.m. Palm Bay’s Independence Celebration is one of the many celebrations taking place over the Fourth of July holiday on Florida’s Space Coast. Enjoy live music, food, a kids’ play area and of course, fireworks starting at 9 p.m.

Cocoa Beach

8:45pm Fireworks on the Beach – Sydney Fischer Park, Cocoa Beach   Grab a towel, beach chair or just sit on the sand and watch the Fireworks Show over the Atlantic!

Monday, July 4:



5 p.m. The whole family will have a blast celebrating the Fourth of July at the Riverfront Park in Cocoa Village! Enjoy family attractions, food and a live performance from the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. Fireworks will be displayed over the Indian River Lagoon. Fireworks are expected to go off around 8:45/9 p.m.


6:30 p.m. Space Coast Stadium – Brevard County Manatee Baseball Club.  Enjoy a great baseball game and then sit back and watch as the Fireworks go off!  You will also enjoy, with the purchase of your game ticket, all you can eat BBQ dinner by Slow and Low BBQ, a commemorative 22nd annual t-shirt and of course, the Fireworks Show.

Indian River Queen 4th Of July Cruise

7:30 p.m. Enjoy your own Indian River Cruise aboard the Indian River Queen for an unforgettable July 4Th Fireworks Celebration event!  Your two hour cruise includes live music, Th Tulip dinner buffet and an unmatched view of the Fireworks Celebration Show over the Indian River Lagoon.


8 p.m. Front Street Park.   Grab a chair and come snacks for this brilliant Fireworks display over the Indian River Lagoon.  Best parking for those coming to watch the Fireworks will be to park at the Melbourne Auditorium at 625 Hibiscus Blvd.  There is a FREE shuttle service to Front Street Park.   There will also be an Air Sports Parachute Team as a part of the city of Melbourne’s 4th of July Fireworks display this year.  Parachuters from Uncle Sam will “fly” in around 8:15 carrying U.S. flags as they jump from a WWII C-47 “Tico Belle”.   You will not want to miss this show!


9:15 p.m. Sand Point Park – Titusville’s  Red, White and Boom July 4th celebration event will include live music, food and activities for the whole family.   Listen to live music, enjoy food, and lots of activities for the whole family. Fireworks are scheduled to go off at 9:15 p.m. from the Marina Park.
