If there is one thing Brevard County Florida is famous for, it’s the beaches. Going to the beach for those visiting Central Florida as well as those of us who are residents here on Florida’s Space Coast is a must, especially on those clear blue sky days we are so accustomed to here in Brevard County.
Going to beach is so much more than getting a sun tan, playing in the waves and of course, people watching. It’s a very spiritual and zen experience if done properly. It’s about feeling the warmth of the sun seep into your skin. Feel and meditate on the cool ocean breeze dancing off the waves as they thunder onto shore. Smelling the sweet salty air. It is, I suppose, what you make it and want it to be.
What about our little four legged furry friends though? Where can a dog go to enjoy the beach here in Brevard County? Where is there a Dog Beach for Brevard County pet owners? For far too long, our four legged friends here on Florida’s Space Coast were unable to legally enjoy the sensations, excitement and relaxation of the beach. Pet owners were forced to smuggle their little purse dogs in secrecy onto the beach and pet owner’s with larger pets were left with no other choice but to abstain, or sneak their furry friends onto the beach in the early morning hours or late dusk hours.
