Come and Experience the Original and Historical Cocoa Village
There are many reasons why millions of people visit Florida’s Space Coast throughout the year. There are also millions of reasons why those same visitors decide to make Brevard County their home. One of the reasons why my wife and I love living here on Florida’s East Coast here in Central Florida is because of the people and the home town feel our unique county has to offer. Cocoa Village in downtown Cocoa, Florida is more than just a shopping venue. It is a social gathering place for people of all ages to come and eat, drink, shop and just hang out to enjoy the relaxed local atmosphere that is so special and unique in the middle of one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States.
One of my favorite places to have a cup of java and a pastry is Ossorio restaurant in Cocoa Village. (their ice cream is delicious as well) There are so many different and diverse places to eat in Cocoa Village that anyone can get just about any kind of food here. I would argue the best pizza in Brevard County, even Central Florida would have to be Ryan’s Pizza. If you live here in the area or are planning on visiting, this is a “must do” if you love a good pie! The atmosphere are Ryan;s is fun and relaxing as well sitting on the upper outside patio over looking the Indian River.
So Much To Do in Cocoa Village
Although, if it is what you visit Cocoa Village for, eating and drinking would definitely keep you busy and happy, there are so many other shops and boutiques in the Village to make a whole weekend of it. Desserts galore, pubs and more drinks on tap than you can count, there are art galleries, boutiques to spoil you inner self, shopping for every day items and specialty shops as well. When you have filled your belly with delicious food and drink, step over to A Lifetime of Fitness and burn those calories away so you can start over and eat and drink some more! You can catch a magic show at the Magic Dove Magic Shop, watch a live performance at the famous and historical Cocoa Village Playhouse or have an insightful palm reading by Ellen Doreen at Illuminations.
There is a beautiful park in Cocoa Village for all ages. Whether you are wanting fish in the Indian River Lagoon, walk along the boardwalk and gazebos, relax in the amphi theater lawn, play on the playground or run and play in the jumping fountain, there is something for everyone here!
